Dear Students and Families,

Thank you for your interest in Beacon Academy of Nevada! We are committed to providing a quality educational option for students seeking to learn outside of the traditional brick and mortar classroom. Through our many course options and student organizations and activities, we have worked hard to create a vibrant and welcoming educational community for our students, staff and their families. This coupled with our student outreach and support services has given our students many opportunities to succeed that they previously did not think they had.

My background:

My name is Lenna Cherry; I grew up here in Las Vegas, and am a graduate of Las Vegas Academy of Performing and Visual Arts and International Studies, where I majored in Japanese.  After Graduating from high school, I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to attend Northern Arizona University and peruse a degree in Anthropology.  In 2007, I graduated with my BA in Anthropology and a minor in Japanese. I have been working at Beacon Academy since 2009 managing the attendance and student activities department.
